A Community Is Built by the People Who Care
The Dhamma Centre exists because people believe in creating spaces where others can pause, reflect, learn, and reconnect with themselves and with one another.
Behind every meditation session, every gathering, every event that takes place here, there are people quietly giving their time and energy to make it possible.
How you can get involved
-
Helping during events or retreats
Welcoming guests and assisting visitors
Supporting with practical tasks around the centre
Helping with communications or creative work
Assisting with community projects and outreach
Offering professional skills that may benefit the centre
There is no single mould for volunteering here.
Some people help once a month. Others step in when something needs doing.
-
People come forward to volunteer for many different reasons:
To support something meaningful in their local community
To meet others and feel part of a positive environment
To share their skills and experience
To learn something new along the way
More than anything, it is about being part of something that brings people together.
